Cookie policy

Conquest® only uses cookies and browser storage that the service needs to work. There are no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies, so there is nothing to opt in or out of.

Cookies we set

  • Sign-in session (better-auth.session_token, with a __Secure- prefix on the live site): keeps you signed in. Set when you sign in, lasts up to 14 days and is removed when you sign out. Strictly necessary.
  • Sign in with Apple state (better-auth.state and related): protects the Apple sign-in step against forgery. Lasts only for that sign-in. Strictly necessary.
  • Time zone (tz): remembers your device's time zone so your days, logs and reminders line up with your local time. Lasts one year. Strictly necessary for the service you asked for.

Browser storage

While you log a training session, the sets you have typed, the ones you have ticked and when you started are kept in your browser's local storage, so a reload or lost connection does not lose them. They are removed once the session is saved, and never leave your device until you save.

The iPhone app

The app does not use cookies. It keeps your sign-in in the iOS Keychain and a few settings on the device, such as unsaved session sets and whether you want Apple Health sync updates.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to sign in.

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent first. Questions: [email protected].
